Before and After
Cool View Rosacea & Redness at Clinique La Roya
Cool View is a light treatment on the Cutera xeo+ for the redness of rosacea: diffuse facial flushing, background redness and the fine vessels that show on the cheeks, nose and chin. We offer Cool View in Paramus, NJ, where the light reaches the vessels in the deeper layer of the skin while a cooled window protects the surface.
Reactive skin is best treated at a careful pace. Every plan begins with a medical assessment, and Dr. Al-Obaidi sets the pace of your series there, typically three to four sessions.
Treatment at Clinique La Roya is physician-led, under Nawar Al-Obaidi, MD, an internal medicine physician.
Cool View Concerns
Cool View addresses the redness of rosacea, from a flush that comes and goes to a pink tone that stays.
-
Persistent facial redness
Pink and red tone across the cheeks, nose and chin calms, and the complexion looks more even over the series.
-
Flushing and reactive skin
Flushing from heat, stress or weather shows less, and the skin reacts less readily.
Our Cool View Process
- 01
Physician-led assessment
Dr. Al-Obaidi reviews your skin, your history and what sets off your flushing, then confirms that Cool View suits your redness.
- 02
Cooled laser passes
The Cool View handpiece passes across the treatment area, aiming light at the fine vessels while a cooled window protects the surface. A session takes about 30 minutes.
- 03
Planned series
Results build across your series, with each visit spaced to suit your skin.
Your Cool View Consultation
Cool View begins with a consultation and a physician-led assessment, where you and Dr. Al-Obaidi agree on the redness you most want to treat.
You leave knowing the pace of your series and how many sessions it calls for. To plan your Cool View rosacea treatment, book a consultation at Clinique La Roya in Paramus, NJ.
Common Questions About Cool View
Is there downtime after Cool View?
Minimal. Skin may flush for a short while after a session, and you can return to your day.
How many sessions will I need?
Typically three to four. Cool View is given as a series, and we confirm the number for your skin at your assessment.
Can Cool View cure rosacea?
No. Rosacea has no cure, and Dr. Al-Obaidi says so plainly before you begin. Cool View reduces visible redness and flushing.

Areas We Serve
Physician-led care across Bergen County
Clifton
Clifton's Main Memorial Park features a large lake, two playgrounds and tennis courts. A set of tennis on a warm afternoon can leave the cheeks flushed long after the match, and Cool View treats that flushing along with the background redness beneath it. Our clinic is in Paramus, north of Clifton.
Wayne
Passaic County operates two 18-hole courses at Preakness Valley Golf Course, on the same site as Dey Mansion. Cool View also covers two concerns on one visit: the diffuse flushing of rosacea and the fine visible vessels behind it. Paramus, where we offer it, is east of Wayne.
Hackensack
The John Theurer Cancer Center is part of Hackensack University Medical Center. For patients from Hackensack, Cool View with us begins with an assessment that also decides whether a single vessel calls for Excel V+ instead. Hackensack is south of Paramus, home to our clinic.
Teaneck
Teaneck Creek Park is a 46-acre eco-art park, with passive trails and art installations set in a forested wetland. Passive trails are made for an unhurried walk, and Cool View for reactive skin is unhurried too, with sessions spaced around how your skin responds. We offer it in Paramus, west of Teaneck.
Fort Lee
Westview Park in Fort Lee has basketball courts, picnic tables, a playground and a seasonal wading pool. After an afternoon at a park like that, rosacea can leave the cheeks and nose pink into the evening, and Cool View treats that lingering redness. Paramus, home to our clinic, is north of Fort Lee.
Fair Lawn
Radburn station on Fair Lawn Avenue is an NJ Transit stop in the Dutch Colonial Revival style, served by the Bergen County Line. A wait on that platform in winter wind or summer heat can set off a rosacea flush, and Cool View is planned to make that flushing show less. Our clinic is in Paramus.
Garfield
The Saddle River ends at Garfield and Wallington, where it empties into the Passaic River. A river gathers many small streams, and the redness of rosacea gathers many fine vessels, the ones Cool View is designed to target. Paramus, where we offer it, is north of Garfield.
Englewood
The former Englewood Golf Club hosted the U.S. Amateur in 1906 and the U.S. Open in 1909. Those championships were played over several rounds, and Cool View is given over several sessions, as a series. Englewood is east of Paramus, where we offer it.
Bergenfield
Bergenfield founder and mayor Walter Christie established the free public library in 1907. A library is a place for straight answers, and so is a Cool View consultation: what it can change, what it cannot, and how many sessions your skin calls for. Our clinic is in Paramus.
Paramus
Paramus has an outdoor municipal pool complex on Van Binsberger Boulevard, with a main pool, a pool for younger swimmers and a baby pool. Each pool is sized to its swimmers, and each Cool View plan is set to your skin, from the areas treated to the pace of the series. Our clinic is here in Paramus, in Bergen County.
Mahwah
Darlington County Park has three lakes, two of which permit swimming, along with white sand beaches and a wooded picnic area. A swim cools a flushed face for an afternoon, and Cool View works on the fine vessels behind the flush itself. Paramus is south of Mahwah.
Ridgewood
Bergen County began a project to restore the ecological function of the Wild Duck Pond. Restoration like that takes time, and so does Cool View, which aims for calmer, less reactive skin over the series. Paramus is south of Ridgewood.
