Before and After
LimeLight IPL Photofacial Overview
LimeLight is a non-laser light treatment on the Cutera xeo+, Cutera's flagship IPL platform. We offer the LimeLight IPL photofacial in Paramus, NJ for sun damage and age spots, diffuse facial redness, and the uneven tone that brown and red discoloration leaves.
Each pulse reaches the surface layer of the skin, where sun pigment and fine vessels sit, with wavelength and energy tuned to your skin type. A course is typically a series of three sessions, and skin looks brighter and more even in one to two weeks.
Clinique La Roya is a physician-run practice led by Nawar Al-Obaidi, MD, an internal medicine physician.
LimeLight IPL Concerns
LimeLight treats the marks the sun leaves on the face and hands, from scattered brown spots to a general flush of redness.
-
Brown spots and freckling from sun damage
Scattered brown spots fade, and the skin around them looks clearer.
-
Diffuse facial redness and flushing
Diffuse redness settles, leaving a calmer and more even complexion.
-
Uneven skin tone and dullness
Brown and red patches even out, and the skin regains its brightness.
LimeLight IPL Process
- 01
Medical assessment
Nawar Al-Obaidi, MD, reviews your skin type, your history and what you hope to change, then confirms LimeLight suits you.
- 02
The session
Pulses of broadband light from the Cutera xeo+ pass across the treatment area, at a wavelength and energy set for your skin type. A session takes about 30 minutes.
- 03
After treatment
Treated spots darken, then flake away over about a week, and downtime is minimal. We go over aftercare before you leave, and the next session in your series is scheduled from there.
Your Consultation
LimeLight begins with a free IPL consult and a medical assessment by Nawar Al-Obaidi, MD, before any light reaches your skin.
You leave knowing which areas we will treat and how many sessions your series calls for. Where another light treatment suits a concern better, we say so.
