Treatment
Sculptra®
Sculptra® helps your skin rebuild its own collagen, softening the folds between nose and mouth and the fine lines across the cheeks. Results build gradually and look natural, never overdone.
Results develop over the months after treatment and can last up to two years.
Sculptra Overview
Sculptra is an FDA-approved injectable from Galderma, made with poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), that prompts the skin to build new collagen. We offer Sculptra in Paramus, NJ for nasolabial folds, fine lines and wrinkles in the cheek region, and other facial wrinkles.
Treatment starts with a medical assessment of your face, your skin and where it has lost support. A physician then plans the areas to treat and the number of sessions, so the change comes gradually and still looks like you.
Clinique La Roya is a physician-run practice led by Nawar Al-Obaidi, MD, an internal medicine physician.
Concerns Treated by Sculptra
We plan Sculptra around the concerns it is approved to treat, from the folds beside the mouth to the fine lines across the cheeks.
-
Shallow to deep nasolabial folds
The folds that run from the nose to the corners of the mouth soften as new collagen builds.
-
Fine lines and wrinkles in the cheek region
Fine lines across the cheeks smooth out gradually, and the skin looks firmer.
-
Other facial wrinkles
Other facial wrinkles soften over the months after treatment, at the areas set in your plan.
Sculptra Process
- 01
Assessment and planning
We go over what you want to change and look at where your face has lost support. Then we agree on the areas to treat and the number of sessions.
- 02
Treatment sessions
A physician injects Sculptra at the areas mapped in your plan. Sessions are spaced weeks apart, so collagen has time to build between them.
- 03
Gradual results and follow-up
Results develop gradually over the months after treatment. At your follow-up we check how your skin has responded and decide with you whether another session is needed.
Your Sculptra Consultation
Sculptra begins with a Consult Skin Care & Injectables appointment. A physician assesses your face, where it has lost support and what you hope to change, then decides where treatment should go.
You leave with a clear plan: which areas we treat and how many sessions they need. Where Botox or dermal fillers suit a concern better, we say so.
